The Town of Manhattan is accepting public comment regarding the proposed improvements to the public water system and any associated environmental impacts. All public comments will be used in preparation of grant and loan applications for the proposed improvements. A Uniform Environmental Checklist has been prepared and is available from the Town for public review upon request. A public hearing will be conducted on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 7:00 pm at 207 S 6th St. Persons or their agents may review the environmental documentation starting April 25th at 207 S 6th Street. Notice is hereby given for a PUBLIC HEARING to be held before the Manhattan Town Council on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. in the Town Meeting Room located at 207 S 6th St, Manhattan, Montana.
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to discuss Ordinance No. 24-004: Amending Title 10 regarding zoning variances and the appeal process; and Ordinance No. 24-005: Amending title 12 regarding building review and appeal process.
All pertinent information regarding these hearings may be reviewed at the Manhattan Town Office at 207 S 6th St. between the hours of 8:30 and 5:00.
Written comments may be submitted to the Manhattan Town Office, PO Box 96, Manhattan, MT 59741-0096.
At the public hearing testimony will be taken in support of and in opposition to the subject. If there are any questions, please call the Town Office at 406-284-3235.
